Apologies for the late posting, but I actually had something of a life, going out to first play cards and then other things last night... anyways, it was a rather peaceful meeting for once, with only a few of us present. But at the same time, a very... interesting meeting (especially due to something I'm purposely leaving out). And unfortunately, this is quite a bit lengthy.

Black Cat
009-1
Tenchi Muyo GxP x3
Mai-Otome
Lucky Star

Black Cat 4- The break-in to Torneo’s mansion continues, as Torneo attempts to brainwash Eve into a killer again after her time with Sven. Sven, meanwhile, is racing against time to get to her before Black Cat does. As they speed down the hall, Black Cat is not only able to take out the guards, the cameras, but also check all rooms along the way, and just when it looks like Black Cat has made it to Eve… it turns out to be Sven instead, who is going to now take her from Torneo. The problem is, as soon as Sven gets to her, everyone else shows up just after him. To make things even worse, in order to make sure that all problems are dealt with, Torneo has one of his goons put a chip on Eve that forces her to transform and go on a mad rampage after Black Cat, while his guards take care of Sven. Sven is a step ahead, and with a small distraction via Rinslette, they cahse after the two combatants. Black Cat is unable to attack Eve, and can only keep dodging… until Sven rushes in at the cost of his own safety to bring Eve back. At the same time, Torneo finds out tha his lab has been ruined, and he is killed as it explodes. With Eve now rescued and Sven patched up, Black Cat once again appears to take out Eve… but thoughts of Saya flash through his head, and instead he just vanishes.

009-1 8- We see how 009-1 (Mylene) first got involved in this entire mess: as a child, one of the sides killed her entire family, and a spy managed to bring her out, as she only kept going by the thoughts of finding freedom. Eventually, she was put in something like an orphanage, and one day was brought into the 00 agency, and after a ton of training, became the one thing her savior told her never to become: a spy; she believes becoming one is the only way to freedom. In the present day, a bunch of men who seem to hold the power of the 00 Organization are discussing her, and say how she still has emotions, which could be a problem, especially with her latest mission. Apparently someone has been leaking information from one side of the war to the other, and as Mylene finds out, its none other than her old savior… it turns out his girlfriend is ill, and he’s been doing it for the money. When he learns what has become of Mylene and her mission, he tells her to just shoot him, as its pretty much over for his girlfriend, and that way he’ll be able to join her. At first, Mylene is unable to pull the trigger, but after he says something… Mylene is able to pull the trigger, putting those two lovers together in death.

Tenchi GxP 24, 25, 26 (this is the first time in my knowledge that a single disk has gone in and out in one night… but Jeff said twas time to kill the series): To start out: With Seina still on the planet near where Tarant Shank is, Tarant has ordered the capture of Seina and for all others to be killed, so they’ve all retreated to a small temple in a mountain, where a dormant “god” resides. As they’re attacked, a fury burns within Seina, and the “god” (which really is a mecha) is awakened, and Seina is thrust into it, and thus he begins the counterattack against the pirates. The girls, meanwhile, have been doing their research, and end up finding out where Seina exactly is, and decide to get over to his location as fast as possible. Back with Seina, it turns out this mecha is very eco-friendly: it has the power to crumple all enemy machines like garbage, and literally reduce them to nothing. With a few enemies out of the way, Seina goes to rescue Fuku and her clones; Tarant is waiting for him in the lab. Tarant isn’t quite able to kill Seina, and instead decides to take him out with his own ship. As Seina goes after him and finds himself surrounded, that’s when we find out the other secret of the mecha: it has Light Hawk Wings. Seina continues to take out the enemy, and Tarant orders a hyperjump to escape… but it turns out that Seina is actually able to pull the ship out of the hyperjump, and thus Tarant meets his end…

25- Now that the girls have gotten Seina back, it also turns out that Seina’s graduation is nearing, and that means his team will most likely be disbanded… but the GP has something else in mind. Meanwhile, work on that new mecha is being conducted, and several discoveries were made. First off, it’s extremely ancient, somewhere around 100,000 years old. Second, it’s bonded with Seina, and third… not only is its construction weird (it looks like the true form of an EVA), it has a seed of a first generation Jurian tree in it. Talking to the Emperor and Empresses of Jurai, this means Seina just found himself in a very high political position, and making him third in line to the throne, since he’s the only other person born on Earth who can use the Light Hawk Wings. At the same time, because of the closeness of the group and all their political ties, Irie goes around to each of them, trying to get an answer of how they feel towards Seina… and we can basically conclude that each is in love with him, and therefore Seito’s plotting begins. Also, other dark plotting goes on with Tarant’s defeat, but this is quickly dispelled when the GP commander (forgot her name) barges in and ruins the party, so we have another problem out the way…

26- The decision is made: Seina is to become a married man, to all the girls. Therefore, all preparations are made, but doubts run through Seina’s head, as he wonders if any of the girls actually want to marry him. However, all major parties are pushing Seina towards the wedding, even his own family! Thus Seina is dragged off to get changed… and it seems that Tarant just refuses to die, since he infiltrated the party just to get close to Seina and kill him. However, tarant still falls victim to the defenses of the ship, and Mitoto arrives in timely fashion to take care of the garbage called Tarant. After Seina expresses his worry to Irie, he is brought to see the girls in their weddings dresses… all are quite beautiful, and looking forward to this event. Seina goes to get changed (with no interference), and he learns something else: that his sister and best friend are engaged themselves… and we also have NB and that other robot more or less going to tie the know (am I sensing a theme in this episode?). However, before Seina can go, the four nameless girls who show up every once in a while end up revealing their true nature to Seina: they’re from a small federation that needs him help, and thus they kidnap him. Back at the altar, the four girls are brought forth in front of the crowd, which consists of everyone who’s anyone, and the groom is brought in… only to find that Seina’s sister and Kai had to pose instead, and this pisses off the girls to no end, and things only get worse when they learn of Seina’s kidnapping. They go off after him, and the crowd ends up hearing a lot more than they should as Seina’s kidnappers try to flee from the girls with no success. After all that business is cleared up, the grand finale is as follows: Seina and all eight girls are on board, Fuku in his lap, and we see that there are a bunch of mini-NB’s running around (OH THE HORROR!), as they head off in the kamidake to another mission… and thus ends the series!

Mai-Otome 11- Queen Mashiro’s birthday is happening soon… and by some strange coincidence, it turns out that same day is also the birthday of Arika and Nina as well. Also, a prince is arriving in the city, and its up to Mashiro along with Arika and Nina to escort him… the only problem is, Nina has a gift from Sergay that she cherishes very much, and it ends up getting stolen via a crow. Thus, Arika has Nina search for it, but they come up to no avail, and we see a bit more emotional side of Nina, one that shows she may be in love with him but is forbidden due to being his daughter. However, Sergay himself comes upon the two girls, and it turns out he found Nina’s gift and gives in back to her… and to make things more interesting, Sergay says that today is Nina’s birthday because it is when he actually met Nina in a hospital and she had no previous memory.

Lucky Star 5- Again, various day-to-day topics are covered by the girls, and this time it revolves around the fact that the summer holidays have come around… so the girls go off to a festival and have fun there. Afterwards, its time for the girls to go and begin homework… however, Konata runs into the problem of being unable to do it and is unable to get any help…
