U.J.A.C. Ren Fair trip August 2nd !!!
Damn I can’t wait! Well I (dunno about the rest of you) missed the advance ticket sale, it ended June 27th, so instead only paying $18.95 I’ll have to spend $22. Oh well. Let’s see... looks like we picked the perfect weekend. August 2nd is the Celtic Celebration. Here’s what the site says:

Thrill to the sound of a bagpipe band, see traditional Scottish and Irish dancing, cheer athletes as they compete in a Caber Toss Competition and demonstration, and for this weekend only enjoy the return of our favorite Celtic band, Empty Hats! Enjoy Festival musicians, Merry Mischief, Cantiga, Crannog, and others as they showcase their Celtic selections.

Traditional foods of Scotland and Ireland will be featured in Festival food booths, as merchants showcase their Celtic flare. Be sure to stop at the pubs to have a pint of Guinness, the featured beer for the occasion. Kick up your heels and raise a glass at one of the many Celtic sings happening through out the day.

I’m gonna rent a costume, gotta try to buy period boots/shoes online 'cause I called and they don’t supply footware. I didn’t think they would. I spent like $170 last trip, 'course I was paying for two that time. I think I’ll double my budget and splurge a bit. $300 should be enough for one person... unless I go crazy and buy those $1,000 boots hahaha. Seriously though, someone restrain me if I go into that booth.

ok, everyone we are going to meet at walmart in north utica for the trip. so try to be there by 7:30 - 7:45am. we are going to leave by 8 am to try and be at the fair by 10 - 10:15am

umm www.nws.noaa.gov is now saying that sterling is going to have a 70% chance of rain this saturday. do we want to still go this saturday with the rain or go this sunday where it will be sunny out?

just asking, but also i know the weather forecast can change again.

yea and will i like what u have quoted from the movie From Dusk till Dawn. that was a funny movie,

it doesn't matter if there is rain, it's only gonna be a little if it even happens. not to mention the club decided on the 24th to go even if it rains
